Sold Continuation of the Species today. Joe at Elite kept checking it out online and showing people. Hope this is the catalyst I need to start selling more.
This piece is white and gray shadow, with a green background. The pink blushed center makes the pistol/stamen area of yellow gold really pop. When completed, the piece seemed to be overtly sexual, and with some changes, became less overt.
Next am starting on a Rust diptych. Have some light texture down. Cant wait to get into the reds, oranges, etc. Need to find a mold for small half rounds to make rivet heads out of.
