Textured Abstract Acrylic - Jumping Off Point

 

JUMPING OFF POINT - This hightly textured abstract acrylic was one of those pieces that just about created itself.  Added partial texture to a piece and added dark wash.  After adding a few colors to the piece, what was a dark craggy looking piece, became a colorful cliff scene. 
Added yellow with orange highlights to depict a sunrise or sunset.  Addition of dark gray and shades of terra cotta brown give more of a true rocky feel.   I have also shown a couple closeup views to show the great texture of this piece.


This is a great piece for either an accent to a cleaner modern home, to a more rustic home.
