TORTUOUS HEART - This lightly textured linear abstract acrylic piece is complete, but I found that, after photographing it, it looks great at any angle.
Calling it Tortuous Heart because the original idea came from a swirl of dead heartwood protruding from a tree trunk.
Made of shades of black, white and gray, along with faded hues of gold and brown. Curving and undulating linear areas depict the movement of the grain of the faded wood.
