Textured Acrylic Abstract - Breccia
BRECCIA - Highly textured abstract acrylic painting. My newest textured and varnished abstract piece.
I am calling it Breccia, which is Italian for bond or parts of a whole. It is also a fascinating form of sedimentary rock in which chunks of other rock are cemented together to create a colorful mosaic.
Rounded areas of geode like pieces at the top, are in a gritty ground of orange with pale green highlights, and linear slashes of black and purple.
20x30 signed and varnished; Certificate of Authenticity included.
