Review of SOL
Taking a new look at SOL; my 18x24 heavily crackled piece, that gives a view of the Sun, in almost a scientific look. When you look at photos, the surface seems almost fractured, like a crackle piece. Bits of the bright yellow show through, along with flaring - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot.
Looking at it close us, you not only see the fractures, but you also see the very painterly effect of the piece, which is the reason you get a variety of coloration, depending on light and angle.
2014 CHANGES: added colorful dotted areas, in a less scientifice, more fun type of piece
