AS IN POETRY - Textured acylic abstract piece, 16x20. This geometric piece shows a variety of color, texture and line, to keep the eye busy.
Geometry and Poetry have been compared throughout history
Flaubert wrote "Poetry is as precise a thing as Geometry".
This piece has crackle in the orange geometric circle and square forms at the top. Crackle is also seen in the mossy formation at the bottom of the circle.
I added a few lines , as well as a red dotted area to give balance to the bottom.....leaving an area for my signature. The lines area a variety of gold, purple, red and blue. A variety of various lines, slashing and cross hatching add visual interest. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with all pieces.
